Snapbrige needs Bluetooth LE, and does not work on intel based processors in android tablets so it does not run on all tablets, Till now i cannot get my D500 to connect through WiFi. =The D500 will have a much better connectivity called snapbridge = Thanks for response! I actually have an eyefi sd card, i used it before I got my D5300 with Wifi capability. M_laRs_k edited this topic 64 months ago. unfortunately not available for older equipment. The D500 will have a much better connectivity called snapbridge.

I've put the activation of the eyefi card on a function button. It quickly streams the jpgs full size to my mobile device. My workaround is an eyefi sd card in the second slot of my D7000. I like the imaging capabilities of Nikon gear a lot, but the WMU app is one of the worst available. You can use it as a total wifi controller for your camera. The app is not only for transfer the pictures from your Camera. Hi I am using qdslrdashboard on an ipad but you can use it on a android device too. The photos look good enough, but when i compare them to the ones transfer to my desktop directly from the SD Card, they look terrible! I transfer to from my Nikon D5300 to my Ipad. I found the app good to transfer but not for looking at the pictures. What are you using, tablet or smart phone? Is there an alternative app available that transfers photos via wifi without a significant loss in quality? I know they are compressed by not sure why they are so 'soft' borderline blurry looking (when I transfer via SD card to desktop, I see the original uncompressed file is sharp). When I transfer photos using WIFI via WMU app, I find the photos to be very "soft". Now you can play WirelessMobileUtility on MAC PC.Alternative to WMU (wireless mobile utility) ?
